[there is no reasonable explanation for the mistletoe growing in the area- in front of you, beside you, overhead. Something should probably be done to try to clear it, or at least find yourself a clear space.]

[Fortunately (?), there's another person nearby, who's at least as bewildered by this outbreak of mistletoe. He glances over, offering Lillet a quick smile.]

Ah… Did you hear about this? It must be some sort of test, right?

[oh. well that's fair enough! But what are they going to put them all in? He starts picking up some himself, going the other way and looking for something they can put the mistletoe in when their arms get too full. And there do seem to be a few bags over that way, so he snags a couple and turns to head back to her, holding one out.]
